orange sun This is a special, low-priced event, designed to be accessible to all. Because, as winter draws nearer, and the financial news is gloomy, I want everyone to be able to BRING ON THE SUNSHINE by attending a raw food event this Autumn.

I expect this event to sell out relatively quickly, so if you’d like to secure your place, please do so via the ‘Book Now’ button at the foot of this page. Bookings are via Paypal, but let me know if you'd prefer another payment method.

The RFL Saturday Social will not feature demos, teaching or goodie bags. And, although there will be a structure, it’s not formal, or ‘sit-down’. In other words, it’s not a raw food prep class – it’s something quite different.

The programme WILL include:

RAW FOOD BANQUET

At least TWELVE delicious raw food dishes will be served for your delectation (including RFL originals and from the recipes of international raw chefs). These will be savoury and sweet and include starters, main courses and desserts. There will be enough for you to enjoy a sumptuous meal - you won't go away hungry!

All food served will be raw vegan, so that everyone, whether raw/cooked omnivore, raw vegetarian or raw vegan, can enjoy all the dishes. And the dishes will include those suitable for all sorts of raw food diets, eg high fruit, no fruit, high nuts, no nuts, etc; all ingredients will be listed by the dishes.


FOOD RECIPES

Want some inspiration in the form of new raw food recipes for dishes you've had the opportunity to try first before making? You will receive recipes for dishes served on the day.


TALK

This month’s theme will be:

‘Yes, You Can Stay Raw During Winter’

(I will give a short talk, which will be followed by Q & A and group discussion
– please feel free to contribute suggestions. The emphasis is on sharing of
ideas and experiences.)


MAKE RAW FOOD FRIENDS

Have you ever left a raw food event having chatted to lots of lovely people, but got a little mixed up as to who was who, and left without taking contact information? On booking the RawforLife Saturday Event, you will receive a short questionnaire. Answer only with the sort of information you’d be happy for others to see. Just before the event, I will circulate summaries of attendees’ information to everyone (minus e-mail addresses) just so that you know a little bit about each other beforehand. At the event, everyone will be given name badges, and at the end of the event all will be invited to enter names and e-mails on a list for circulation (no obligation!).

Built into the schedule will be ‘free time’ for socialising.

(On the other hand, if you’d prefer to keep yourself to yourself, eat all the lovely food and curl up in a corner with a raw food book from my collection, that’s fine too!)


SHOP

There will be a small shop, where you may like to purchase items such as truly raw cashews, olives etc.

RAW LIBRARY

Take a look through my collection of raw food books before spending money on something that may, or may not, be right for you.


RAW FOOD EQUIPMENT

Feel free to look around my kitchen. You will be able to see (and possibly try) a Vitamix blender, Oscar masticating juicer, Cuisinart food processor, spiraliser, and Excalibur dehydrator, as well as look at sprouting jars and nut milk bags.
